Rules

General Rules
• Alternative Accounts are allowed unless using them to evade a punishment. In cases of evading punishments, your alt may be permanently banned.
• Toxicity is NOT allowed. We do not tolerate any toxic or disrespect remarks. We strive to have a friendly environment for all.
• Threatening/taking action to dox, swat, or witch hunt will resort in an immediate IP ban.
• Advertising another minecraft server is NOT allowed. Advertising any videos or streams is allowed if it is on this server.
• Inappropriate skins or names are not allowed. You will be banned but can appeal once you have changed it.
• We have the right to ban or mute any account for any applicable reason that is not explicitly stated in this post. (Have common sense)

Server Specific Rules
• Spamming is not allowed. You will be muted after 2-3 warnings. Spamming is repeating the same/similar message multiple times, and spamming characters is not allowed too.
• Toxicity is NOT allowed. Please be friendly as we are all just trying to have fun.
• Disrespect and vulgarity (racial slurs) is not tolerated. Do not make rude comments about gender, ethnicity, appearance, character, race, sexuality, disabilities, etc.
• Do not impersonate our staff. They have a job to do and impersonating them will cause problems.
• Do not advertise another minecraft server.
• Use common sense. Finding glitches or exploits and not reporting them and continuously using them will result in a ban.
• Cheats are NOT allowed. Do not x-ray, use pvp hacks, or anything that will give you an advantage over everybody else. We highly recommend Lunar Client.

Forum Specific Rules
• If Reporting a Player or Appealing a ban/mute do not constantly ping / message our staff to look at it. We will get to it when we get to it.
• If applying for Staff or Creator Ranks, do not constantly ask our staff about it because we will instantly deny it.
• Make sure you know where you are posting before posting. If posting about UHC, please make sure it's in the UHC forum page.

Repeating an Offense
• Getting punished for the same offense you've already been punished for will increase your punishment to the staff's discretion. Eventually, if continuous repeating, it will result in a permanent IP ban.

Guidelines

Staff Application Guidelines
• You must be the age 13 or older to apply.
• You must have a clean punishment history in the past 30 days.
• You must have a discord account in the server.
• You must have a good reputation with the staff and members on the server.

Creator Application Guidelines
• YouTube: 1,000 or more subscribers for minecraft based gaming channels with at least two videos on SkyLite. 5,000 or more subscribers for some-minecraft based gaming channels with at least two videos on SkyLite. The YouTube channel must still be active (posted within the past 6 months) and get a decent amount of views per subscriber ratio.
• Twitch: 1,000 or more followers with at least two streams on SkyLite. The Twitch channel must still be active (stream within the past 6 months) and get a decent amount of views per follower ratio.
• Other: DM one of our staff members to look into other video/streaming platforms.

Conclusion

Finally, our management team will always have the final say. They have more experience and know how to handle certain situations. The rules and guidelines is not only for the players to abide by, but staff as well. If you see a staff abusing power do not hesitate to report it! We want SkyLite to be a safe, fun environment to play.
